General Terms and Service Regulations

1. Nature of the service

Terapéutica offers psychological care services with a positive mental health approach, oriented towards emotional accompaniment, personal development, and strengthening of psychological well-being. Services can be provided individually or in groups and are directed at people seeking psychological support, as well as those under psychiatric treatment who require complementary therapeutic accompaniment. The care provided does not substitute medical or psychiatric care in any case.

2. Start of service

To begin the therapeutic process, it is essential to: • Complete the clinical record • Read and sign the following documents: o Informed consent o Privacy notice o Confidentiality notice The therapeutic process can only begin once all documentation has been correctly completed and submitted.

3. Therapist assignment

Terapéutica will assign the therapist considering the client's needs, their reason for consultation, and schedule availability. The client may request a therapist change only through the coordination area, presenting an adequate justification. The request will be evaluated based on the well-being of the therapeutic process and operational availability. Furthermore, Terapéutica reserves the right to reassign a therapist when considered necessary to guarantee service quality or the well-being of both parties.

4. Session modality

Sessions will be conducted exclusively in online modality (video call). The client is responsible for having: • A private and adequate space • A stable internet connection • Punctuality at the agreed time

5. Duration and punctuality

• Individual psychotherapy sessions will have an approximate duration of 30 to 90 minutes, which will depend on the assigned therapist's approach and technique and may change each session. • Group psychotherapy sessions will have a minimum duration of 55 minutes. • Counseling sessions will have an approximate duration of 30 minutes. Sessions will start and end at the established time. In case of delay by the client: • The session will not extend beyond the assigned time • The full cost of the session will be charged

6. Cancellations and rescheduling

Sessions must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. In case of cancellations outside this period: • The full cost of the session will be charged In case of no-show without prior notice: • It will be considered a session taken and will not be refundable Terapéutica may make exceptions only in extraordinary situations duly justified.

7. Payments

The session cost must be covered at least 24 hours in advance. For example, if the session is scheduled for Monday at 10:00 a.m., the payment must be made no later than Sunday at 10:00 a.m. • In case of not receiving the payment within this period, the time slot will be released automatically. • Payment methods will be communicated to the client at the start of the service. No refunds are made for sessions already provided.

8. Confidentiality

All information shared during the therapeutic process will be treated confidentially. Confidentiality may be limited only in the following cases: • Risk of harm to the client or third parties • Legal requirements by a competent authority Before starting the process, the client must accept the confidentiality terms established in the corresponding documents.

9. Scope and limits of the service

Terapéutica's service: • Is not designed for psychological emergency care • Does not substitute medical, psychiatric, or pharmacological care • Does not include the issuance of formal psychiatric diagnoses or prescription of medications If the need for another type of care is detected, the therapist may suggest the corresponding referral.

10. Client responsibilities

The client agrees to: • Participate actively in their therapeutic process • Provide truthful and relevant information • Respect the established schedules and conditions • Maintain respectful conduct during sessions

11. Client and therapist well-being

Terapéutica prioritizes the well-being of both clients and therapists. Therefore: • The client may request a therapist change only through the coordination area and by presenting an adequate justification, which will be evaluated according to the well-being of the therapeutic process. • The therapist may request the reassignment of the case if they consider that they cannot provide adequate accompaniment These decisions will always be made seeking the greatest benefit for the therapeutic process.

12. Professional relationship

The relationship between therapist and client is strictly professional. No personal, commercial, or any other kind of relationship will be allowed outside the therapeutic space while the care relationship exists.

13. Communication

Communication outside the session will only be for: • Administrative topics • Scheduling • Logistical follow-up Therapy is not provided via messaging media.

14. Service termination

The therapeutic process may be concluded: • By decision of the client • By recommendation of the therapist • By breach of these conditions • After 3 no-shows by the client, the service will be automatically canceled. It is recommended, when possible, to perform an adequate closure of the process.

15. Acceptance of conditions

By starting the service, the client declares to have read, understood, and accepted the present General Conditions and Service Regulations of Terapéutica.
